Οἱ ἐν Βαβυλῶνι Παῖδες, τῷ θείῳ πυρπολούμενοι ζήλῳ, τυράννου καὶ φλογὸς ἀπειλήν, ἀνδρείως κατεπάτησαν, καὶ μέσον πυρὸς ἐμβληθέντες, δροσιζόμενοι ἔψαλλον· Εὐλογεῖτε πάντα τὰ ἔργα Κυρίου τὸν Κύριον.

The Children in Babylon, aflame with divine zeal, bravely trampled down the trhreat of the tyrant and the flame; and though cast into the midst of the fire, they were moistened with dew and they chanted: O all ye works of the Lord, bless ye the Lord.
Isaac Lambertson 譯文：
The children in Babylon, consumed by zeal divine, manfully trampled the tyrant and the flame underfoot; and, cast into the midst of the fire, bedewed they chanted: Bless the Lord, all ye works of the Lord!

In Babylon the Children, burning with zeal for God, bravely trampled upon the threat of the tyrant and the fire; thrown into the midst of the flames but refreshed with dew, they sang: ‘O all ye works of the Lord, bless ye the Lord.’

三聖童在巴比倫，為對天主的熱忱所熾燃，勇敢地踐踏暴君的威脅與烈火；他們雖被投入火燄之中，卻為甘露所滋潤，他們歌唱道：上主的一切化工，請讚頌上主。
