Ἐξέστη ἐπὶ τούτῳ ὁ οὐρανὸς, Εἱρμὸς θ΄, Ἦχος πλ. δ΄

Ἐξέστη ἐπὶ τούτῳ ὁ οὐρανός, καὶ τῆς γῆς κατεπλάγη τὰ πέρατα, ὅτι Θεός, ὤφθη τοῖς ἀνθρώποις σωματικῶς, καὶ ἡ γαστήρ σου γέγονεν, εὐρυχωροτέρα τῶν οὐρανῶν∙ διό σε Θεοτόκε, Ἀγγέλων καὶ ἀνθρώπων, ταξιαρχίαι μεγαλύνουσι.

顯容院譯文：

The heavens were astonished and stood in awe, and the ends of the earth, Maid, were sore amazed, for God appeared bodily to mankind as very man. And lo, thy womb hath proved to be vaster and more spacious than heaven’s heights. For this, O Theotokos, the choirs and assemblies of men and angles magnify thy name.

厄弗冷大司祭譯文：

Heaven was amazed at this and the ends of the earth astounded: that God had appeared to mankind in bodily form, and that your womb had become far wider than the heavens. And so, Mother of God, the ranks of Angels and of humans magnify you.

舊譯：

天驚畏地界駭異，因上帝藉人形而顯現於人間，並聖母腹量較天寬洪故天神及人會讚揚爾為上帝之母。

　

譯文：

高天驚奇，地極震驚：天主以肉身的形式向人類顯現，你的胎比諸天更為寬廣。因此，天主之母，諸品天使與人類稱揚你。
