Παῖδας εὐαγεῖς, Εἱρμὸς η΄, Ἦχος δ΄

Παῖδας εὐαγεῖς ἐν τῇ καμίνῳ, ὁ τόκος τῆς Θεοτόκου διεσώσατο, τότε μὲν τυπούμενος, νῦν δὲ ἐνεργούμενος, τὴν οἰκουμένην ἅπασαν, ἀγείρει ψάλλουσαν· Τὸν Κύριον ὑμνεῖτε τὰ ἔργα, καὶ ὑπερυψοῦτε, εἰς πάντας τοὺς αἰῶνας.

Three guiltless Youths cast in the furnace were saved by the Offspring which the Theotokos bare, then in figure and in type, now in very truth and deed; and He hath gathered all the world, which crieth out in chant: Ye works of His, O sing the Lord’s praises, and exalt Him greatly for ages and all ages.

《大齋期禮典》譯文：

The Offspring of the Theotokos saved the holy Children in the furnace. He who was then prefigured has since been born on earth, and He gathers together all the creation to sing: O all ye works of the Lord, bless ye the Lord and exalt Him above all for ever.

火窰中的無罪三聖童為天主之母的孩子所救，那時祂是預像，現在祂已施行大能，召集普世萬有歌唱：上主的化工，請歌唱讚美上主，稱揚歌頌祂，及於萬世。
