Ἐν τῇ καμίνῳ τῇ τῶν Παίδων, Εἱρμὸς η΄, Ἦχος β΄

Ἐν τῇ καμίνῳ τῇ τῶν Παίδων, προαπεικόνισάς ποτε, τὴν σὴν Μητέρα Κύριε· ὁ γὰρ τύπος τούτους πυρὸς ἐξείλετο, ἀφλέκτως ἐμβατεύοντας, ἢν ὑμνοῦμεν ἐμφανισθεῖσαν, διὰ σοῦ τοῖς πέρασι σήμερον, καὶ ὑπερυψοῦμεν εἰς πάντας τοὺς αἰῶνας.

In the furnace of the Children long ago Thou didst prefigure Thy Mother, O Lord. For the likeness delivered them from the fire, as they walked amidst it unconsumed. We praise her, who hath been manifested by Thee today unto the ends of the world, and we supremely exalt her unto all the ages.

Isaac Lambertson 譯文：

Thou didst once prefigure Thy Mother in the furnace of the children, O Lord; for her image drew from the fire those who entered it, without being consumed. We hymn and exalt her supremely for all ages, who through Thee hath been made manifest today to the ends of the earth.

Long ago in the furnace of the Children hast Thou prefigured Thine own Mother, O Lord. For this image delivered them from the fire, and they walked in the midst of it unconsumed. Thou hast manifested her today to the ends of the earth: her praises do we sing and we exalt her above all for ever.

主啊，很久之前，在三聖童所在的火窰裡，祢預表了祢自己的母親。因為這一預像將他們由烈火中救出，他們行在其中，卻沒有被焚毀。今天，祢彰顯了她，直到地極：我們要歌唱讚美她，我們要稱揚她，直到永遠。
